Where is my financial data stored?
All data is stored locally on your iOS device using SwiftData. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account and is end-to-end encrypted by Apple. Our servers never store your financial information.
How do I sync data across multiple devices?
Go to Fina's Settings and toggle on "iCloud Sync". Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled. Initial sync may take a few minutes.
How does AI conversation logging work?
Tap the conversation input bar and describe your expense in plain English — for example, "Lunch cost $14.50." Fina's AI will automatically extract the amount, category, and date and create the entry. You can also take a photo of a receipt for automatic recognition.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → "Export Data" to download all your transactions as a CSV or JSON file — great for importing into other tools or keeping your own archive.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings → "Data Management" → "Clear All Data" to remove local data. To also remove iCloud data, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, find Fina, and delete it.
